- : That is all very well. BUT, if you purchase your product,
- : you are encouraged to buy more of your stuff. The RamLink comes
- : with a Fast Hard Disk Interface (Which is included in the price
- : I'm sure.) This is only compatible with CMD Hard Disks, so you
- : either buy CMD, or pay for something you won't use.

- Hmm... just my 2cents worth. I would have to probly say that CMD has the
- best hardware stuff out for the c64/128 and is an invaluable resource to
- any c64 user but at the same time I also feel like there prices are high
- compared to the price of any other hard drive. Now I know some people
- might want to compare there prices with the prices of 1988 hard drives
- for the c64 (about $1000 for 10mb or so) but thats not the price of
- things nowadays, so realisticly speaking you really end of up paying alot
- for them. Of course you can distort the facts anyway you want but you
- still end up paying more for c64 hard drives then other hd's. But then
- again you have arguments over the # of hd sales... so well there u have
- it. It makes no difference, if you want a good HD then your going to buy
- it from CMD. - If there was some competition then prices would probly be
- lower but there is n't any.. so considering all things there hard drives
- are expensive but there good.. so thats the way I feel about it..
